Well...it's FINALLY done! woohoo!! ;D Here is the link autymn-moone.com/dsr_main to Diamond S Ranch. Most of my horses are there, most have pedigree's, I'm still working on a couple of them. There is also a for sale page there with several nice stablemates available. I also added the Breed Inspection results to the 3 that were inspected. Just click on the links below the horses name to view that as well as show records. I'd love to hear everyone's comments on the site! ;D - Shannon Diamond S Ranch

Thanks! I love the pedigree part, the mare used for the Black Arabians was my mare...unfourtunately, I don't own her any more Being a single parent has it's major disadvantages at times for sure...sigh. Anyway, the stallions the Black Arabians are by, were ones I was concidering breeding Momi to...guess if I couldn't do it in the real world, I would in the model horses

Right now, all my horses have real sires and dams...I have a couple coming up that will be by or out of a couple of my horses. Over the next few years or so, my new stock will most likely have my models as parents. I'm just trying to build up a good foundation stock base right now. Than build from there ;D

oh awesome! i REALLY want to try now Okay so question, harley is a palomino. i found a "bay" qh sire named Hotrodders Jet Set (yay hotrods!). So what color would the dam have to be?

I prefer to use real horses, unless I absolutely can't find any good pedigrees online. Then I'll use model parents. I like real horses better though, since then I can pick some of the best horses out there (horses I'd never be able to even touch in RL!) and use those in my pedigrees. Plus I like the realism factor and researching helps you get familiar with what champion horses from different breeds look like. Unless the stallion has a chestnut parent, he couldn't be Harley's sire. If he does, then the mare should preferably be palomino, but could also be buckskin or smoky black. Here's a list of some QH's I found though... CC GAYBAROLENA ELI- his dam's name is Smart Little Hotrod and since he is a palomino, she could also be Harley's dam, but should probably be bred to a palomino to make sure. Her pedigree is on this page, just scroll down a bit. www.caywoodcolors.com/trigger.htmlHotrod Doc Olena- chestnut stallion Here's his pedigree: www.hideawayhorses.com/images/hotrodpedigree.jpgHotroddin Good- chestnut gelding (was formerly used at stud, so could still be Harley's sire) Pedigee: www.weilranch.com/HotRodPed.htmlEither of the last two could be bred to a palomino, cremello or perlino mare to get palomino. Too Smart to Hotrod- buckskin mare, would need to be bred to either a palomino or a chestnut to get palomino. (She's at the very bottom of the page) www.cornerstonehorsemanship.com/ourhorses.htm

Yep, no problem! If you use him, the dam can be palomino, buckskin, cremello, perlino, smoky black or smoky creme. (Basically either a single or double dilute of bay, chestnut or black.)
