Okay, I'd like to get the studbook up and organized. Any registered horse can be entered into the studbook and if you'd like to submit your models, please PM me! I need the following info: horse's name, age (or foaling date), breed, gender, color, markings, rank (if any, from Breed Inspection) how many generations in their pedigree, plus any other info you think is pertinent and your contact info! I've thought of several ways to organize this, but I'd like to get your opinions on what you think would be the easiest/best ways of organizing the horses. 1) by breed, with a separate thread for each breed 2) by rank, with sub-boards for each breed 3) by category, (draft, WB, stock, gaited, etc) with sub-boards for each breed 4) any other way I havn't thought of that might work! Thanks ladies! Erin

Okay, so we have our first studbook submissions! I added them to the Studbook and if anyone else is interested in putting their horses up there, just left me know!

LOL. I know. I just spent the afternoon getting my TBs all pedigreed. I want to join this racing club I recently found and all my horses were too old, so I figured "hey, why not get totally new names/pedigrees" It was fun. And.... my Mom took my younger siblings to the Vet Hospital open house today and they were apparently handing out older copies of magazines, so she picked up the "Horse Connection" magazine and brought it back for me. It's the 2006 Stallion Gallery issue, (yay!) so I've been drooling over gorgeous horses all afternoon. ;D Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

Exactly! I was *supposed* to be researching HYPP and that kinda fell by the wayside as I got further into trying to find TB records without having to actually pay for them. ;D I didn't really get much done from a non-model-horse-person's point of view, but it was a great afternoon to my way of thinking!
